Suggest a Site
The key to suggesting a site to Qango is finding the most appropriate category.
You can do this by selecting one of the main categories from our homepage, or by searching for a key word or phrase related to your web site.
There is also a guideline document at Qango Help about the main directory categories.
Once you've found a suitable category, click the Suggest a site link at the bottom of the page, select the review service you want to use, and read the notes that guide you through our site suggestion process.
If you cannot find an exact category for the topic of your website, simply select the most appropriate one available.
- Step 1 - Go to the main Home page.
- Step 2 - Click on the most appropriate Main category.
- Step 3 - Follow the category links until you find the one most appropriate to your site and then click on the Suggest a site link.
Personal Homepages
If your site is hosted on a free webspace account or resides in a sub-folder of someone else's webspace, we consider it a personal page (regardless of its intended use or audience).
Personal pages often start out as projects and many of them go on to become valuable and interesting resources, but in our experience a great many personal pages become neglected and/or move to new hosts on a regular basis for a wide variety of reasons.
Whilst we are happy to list personal pages, we require a certain level of quality before considering such sites for a listing and if you have just started out with your site, we would advise you to wait a while before suggesting it to Qango so that you have a good idea of the general direction your site will take and what content will become its mainstay.
Adult Sites
We have provided detailed notes regarding the suggestion of adult websites here.
